Oleg Mikhailov: With each year Belarusian ski resort at Krasnaya Polyana will be enjoying wider popularity

“The main advantage of Krasnaya Polyana is that there is always enough snow there which few ski resorts can boast. For instance, last year many of European ski resorts bore losses because of the unusually warm winter,” noted Oleg Mikhailov.

Besides that, thanks to the large level difference (about 1700 metres), Krasnaya Polyana is deservedly reckoned among first ten ski resorts of the world. There are amazingly beautiful mountains, the purest air and outstanding microclimate. In contrast to European centres, to go there you should not exhaust yourself by the tiresome procedure of obtaining a visa. Even the most fastidious tourist will be satisfied by recreation facilities at the resort itself. At your service there are comfortable rooms, restaurant, bar, sauna, outdoor pool with water from mountain springs, SPA-centre with gym, mini-sauna “Kedrovaya Zdravnitsa”, billiards, ski equipment rental agency, etc.” added Oleg Mikhailov.

Last year “TsentrKurort” offered an eleven-day complex recreation programme at Krasnaya Polyana (including trip to the beach in Adler, rafting, jeeping and other entertainments). Next year this programme is planned to be modernized and expanded. Perhaps, one will be offered a twelve-day recreation programme at Belarusian resort in Sochi in combination with 4-5 days’ programme at Krasnaya Polyana.

We would remind you that recreation complex of the resort “Belarus” (Sochi) at Krasnaya Polyana opened its doors last spring. Inauguration with the participation of the Head of State was held on 10^th March, 2007. The complex is already included in the official catalogue of Sochi Olympiad and will be the place of accommodation and training for Belarusian freestyle and Alpine skiing team.
