Belarusian Buses to Carry Sportsmen and Guests of Sochi-2014

Russians have been waiting for such an event for more than 20 years. The Olympics will become the key event not only in the country’s sports life: preparation and holding of the Olympic Games will favour the economic growth of the region and turn Sochi into a health resort with the highest worlds standards as well as the centre of business activity.

It is planned to update transport infrastructure, increase the number of hotels and erect some modern sports buildings. It is noteworthy that Belarusians will also contribute to these changes. For instance, it became known that one of Russian companies will buy for Olympic Sochi 260 buses made by Minsk Automobile Plant. Also, there will be built technical and trade centre to service the machinery and train personnel.

Such a profitable contract was signed thanks to the fact that “MAZ” buses are comfortable, equipped with reliable and economy engines and in addition have the best quality-price ratio.

It should be noted that in 2007 this Belarusian enterprise produced 1690 buses which is 6.1% more than in 2006. Every year 60% of “MAZ” output is bought by Russian customers. When the contact is awarded, economic performance of the enterprise will improve even more.
