Russia and Belarus are leaders among CIS countries in terms of IT development

According to the report of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Russia and Belarus rank first and second, respectively, among CIS countries as regards the level of development of infocommunication technologies.

According to the report of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Russia and Belarus rank first and second, respectively, among CIS countries as regards the level of development of infocommunication technologies.

In ITU’s global rating, which includes 159 countries, Russia holds 48th place, Belarus takes 55th, while Ukraine ranks 58.

Sweden tops both European and world rating of IT development. First top ten countries as regards ICT development rate as follows: 1- Sweden, 2 – Luxemburg, 3 – South Korea, 4 – Denmark, 5 – the Netherlands, 6 – Island, 7 – Switzerland, 8 – Japan, 9 – Norway, 10 – Great Britain.
