Investor Demo Day at the ‘Youth Innovation Centre-2013’ project
On 11 September 2013 the Youth Innovation Centre in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Belarus and the Hi-Tech Park of the Belarusian National Technical University, Politekhnik held ‘Investor Demo Day’ – the annual final stage of the Youth Innovation Centre project aimed at commercialisation of innovative developments by young Russian and Belarusian researchers.

‘Monitoring – SG’ is introduced

Belarus confirms its status as a space power
The UN will host a workshop on Space Technology Applications for Socio-Economic Benefits at the Belarus State University between 11 and 15 November. The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs organises a series of workshops and other events on relevant themes in different countries every year. Minsk was chosen for this workshop after taking into account the Belarusian achievements in space research.

Belarusian claimant for the Guinness Book of Records
The world’s biggest dump truck, the BelAZ-75710, has been built at the Belarusian automobile engineering company. This giant with a weight of 810 tonnes can carry 450 tonnes!
