In 2013 the State Control Committee of Belarus has stopped the export of dairy products to Russia by three illicit companies

BELTA has learned from the press service of the President that the State Control Committee of Belarus has stopped the illegal activities of three shadow companies which have been exporting dairy products to Russia during 2013. Today, Alexander Yakobson, Chairman of the State Control Committee, reported to Alexander Lukashenko, the President, the implementation of Decree No. 488 ‘On a Range of Measures for the Prevention of Illegal Minimization of Tax Liability’ aimed at controlling false company structures.

Project: Healthcare expenditure in the RF will be reduced to 3.3% of GDP by 2016

In the next few years the proportion of expenditure on healthcare in Russia, expressed as a percentage of GDP, will be reduced from 3.7% in 2013 to 3.3% of GDP in 2016, according to a draft outline of budgetary policy for next three years, seen by RIA Novosti.

Belarus restricts pork imports from the Pskov Region of Russia due to outbreak of African swine fever

Belarus has temporarily restricted imports of pork from Russia’s Pskov Region due to outbreaks of African swine fever. This has been reported by the Veterinary and Food Control Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

“Feeding-stuff supplied from Russia undergoes strict control in Belarus”, - V. Pavlovsky

Feeding stuff and proteinaceous raw materials imported from Russia are undergoing strict controls in Belarus. This was reported at a press conference given by Vasily Pavlovsky, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus. He indicated that the cases of African swine fever (ASF) registered in Russia and Belarus were the reason behind the checks on materials used to produce animal-feed, being carried out by experts from the Veterinary and Food Control Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. There are certain types of feed intended for particular purposes which the cattle-breeding industry cannot do without.

Russian colleagues render assistance to EMERCOM of Belarus for international certification
